Out 1st December

The Jones Family are skippered by Mum. She’s a busy vet, with three lively (some say feral) country kids who she’s trying to navigate to safety on a 24/7 basis while maintaining her career, keeping their small holding “Orchard View” afloat, and trying to ensure the wellbeing of all the various animals under her care (the four legged variety not just her children). Everyone has a voice in The Furry Tails. Literally everyone!

For every copy of my first book sold, I will be donating £1 to the charity Vetlife.
A charity dedicated to helping vets, vet nurses and their families manage through mental health challenges. One which I have been fortunate to have been able to call on more than one occasion.

Vetlife provides independent, confidential and free help for everyone in the veterinary community including veterinary nurses, students and non-clinical staff.
Dr Ceri Lewis
I've had a pretty wonky career path to becoming a vet, and it's taken me through quite a few adventures along the way! From farming and working every weekend and holiday at a riding school to training kennels, a stint as a trainee gamekeeper, and even learning to fly planes with the RAF Reserves as Officer Cadet Lewis.I've sung in groups, worked as a barmaid, waitress, NHS healthcare assistant, retail sales assistant, warehouse worker and Covid vaccinator. And, of course, eventually became a vet!It hasn't always been easy, and somehow I've now added author and mum of three to the list.My late ADHD diagnosis certainly explains a few things, but it doesn't define me. It just means I have a habit of saying "YES!!" to opportunities and dealing with the consequences later. Good and bad!Seize the moment, and don't be afraid! x
